Arenal Kioro offers a fabulous place with a natural viewpoint to the Arenal Volcano. The hotel has 27 acres of undulating land, surrounded by two streams (La Palma and Kioro) with crystalline waters that begin to flow in the Arenal Volcano National Park. Arenal Kioro is the ultimate in luxury accommodations in the Arenal area. Its privileged location affords it incredible views of the Arenal Volcano from all 53 rooms, restaurant and open-air pool. The resort is conveniently located 10 kilometers northeast of the town of La Fortuna, gateway to the Arenal area, and less than 5 minutes from the Tabacon Spa.

The hotel is comprised of 11 hectares of undulating land, surrounded by two streams (La Palma and Kioro) with crystalline waters that originate at the foot of the Volcano in the Arenal Volcano National Park. There are walking paths throughout the property where many of the local plant species are identified.

The 53 suites are complete with all the amenities you come to expect from luxury accommodations; king and queen sized beds with a separate sitting area with sofa-bed and 11 suites with king bed and sofa-bed, open air terraces with up close panoramic volcano and mountain views, in suite Jacuzzi, air conditioning, safe box, minibar, coffee maker, hot water, direct dialing telephone, satellite television, hair dryer, key card safety locks.

The Heliconia Restaurant, with an excellent view of the volcano is located in the main building. Beautifully decorated with tropical flowers from the gardens and beautiful coral stones tables, the restaurant is open from 4:00 to 10:00 pm.

Orchids Restaurant offers mouth-watering dishes with original recipes based on international cuisine and specializes in meats and shellfish. All the while marveling at the unrivaled beauty of the Arenal volcano and its surroundings that will make your visit an unforgettable experience.

“El Pilón” Restaurant, located in our main building, is special for private lunch and dinner under request for groups.

Bar “El Higuerón” is located near the hotel’s own hot springs and pools. It too has a great volcano view and is open from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm.

The owners have made the conservation of the environment an integral part of their motivation and as such have carried out environmental studies to cause as little impact as possible during the construction and operation of the project.
