In another past life, it was owned by a botanist, and we have this devoted gentleman to thank for the lovely grounds that team with wildflowers and ripe fruit trees, and the birds and butterflies they invite.
Within the hotel and on its grounds one can enjoy the peaceful vistas provided by the Central Mountains. The wide variety of native trees and fruit trees spread throughout our 22 acre property is a haven for some of Costa Rica’s most brilliant birds. We provide an ideal location to spot elusive members of the species, such as motmots, chachalacas, flycatchers, wrens, parrots, tanagers, warblers, euphonias, woodpeckers, and the sweetly busy hummingbirds.
Pandora Restaurant, specializing in homemade dishes with fresh, local ingredients, is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With seven acres of verdant grounds and a variety meeting areas, Villa San Ignacio is the ideal location for corporate and special events.

The second floor meeting rooms have views of the lush grounds and garden. They can accommodate up to 60 guests, including a banquet dining hall and a living room area for conversation and communal activities.
Villa San Ignacio has a swimming pool for guest to enjoy. The pool is large, clean, and refreshing. It’s a great place to cool off or sunbathe.
