Reservation & Cancellation Policies

 Terms and Conditions

 

We appreciate your interest in “Costa Rica Natural Tours”. For us, it is very important that you read and understand our Booking terms and Conditions.

Costa Rica Natural Tours is committed to providing a responsible travel program; selecting and monitoring our services, giving honest descriptions of what we offer, and an orderly provision of the travel services agreed upon.

– All reservation requests will be answered as soon as possible within 36 business hours. Once we receive the reservation request, a receipt notification will be sent to the client.

-For hotel or tour reservations, before charging your credit card, we will check the availability with our providers and then send a confirmation to the client within 36 business hours. We accept payment via credit and debit card or bank transfer (Transfer fees paid by the client).

-Payments must be received prior to the arrival date. Once we receive the payment, a service voucher will be sent to the customer. The customer must show this voucher to our providers to receive the services.

-You can pay through PayPal which is also a safe and easy way to pay online. All you need is an email address to make your secure online payments using a debit card, credit card, bank account or PayPal balance by registering on your www.paypal.com page. In this way, your financial details are stored securely on your servers and you will not have to share them with the person who receives or sends the money, or reveal your data on the Internet or in public.

-Reservations are subject to availability at the time that your request has been processed, and cannot be guaranteed until full payment is accepted. Charges to a credit card will only be processed when the client gives us the authorization for the charge.

-All the prices are listed, and must be paid in US dollars. The tour prices and itineraries are per person and include the services listed in the description. The hotel prices are per room with the meal plan as indicated.

-The check in time at the hotels is usually from 14:00 hrs. (2:00 pm) and the check-out time is at 12:00 hours (noon), if you arrive before 14:00 hours, it is possible that your room may not be ready.

-In the event that there is a problem with hotel availability, we will find another hotel that will meet your needs from the same hotel category. All changes will be communicated to the customer in advance.

 -For tours, in case there is a no-show, or if the tour operator does not get the minimum amount of people to operate the tour, Costa Rica Natural Tours will be forced to cancel the tour and book it for another day, or modify it for another tour in that area. If the customer does not wish to select another tour, we will proceed with a full refund.

To make a payment with credit or debit card you must perform these steps:

 – Fill out the authorization form with your credit card information.

 – Sign and send us the authorization form, also include a copy of the credit card (both sides) and the passport of the cardholder.

 

 – Tips- to the guides, drivers, bellmen, etc.…

 – Extra expenses that are not specified in the itineraries

 – Airport departure tax is not included in the packages; the departure tax is paid directly      at the airport and is $ 28.00 per person.

 – Our prices do not include the fees for any National Parks in Costa Rica.

    

 -All reservations and cancellations must be made via email.

-There will be no refund for voluntarily unused services. If a cancellation is made on the same day of the tour or service purchased, the right to reschedule will be lost.

-Cancellations due to medical situations/illnesses or disability will only be refunded if they are made 22 days prior to the reservation, and must be supported with documentation. In this case, we will proceed giving the customer a full refund or note of credit for the services already paid.

-Costa Rica Natural Tours cannot accept any responsibility, or pay any compensation when the services are unavailable due to wars, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism, weather or adverse situations beyond the control of Costa Rica Natural Tours

-Luggage is the responsibility of the customer. Costa Rica Natural Tours is not responsible for any loss. If you have complaints regarding the hotel you are staying at or about the service, please notify the manager of the hotel or tour as well as our reservations department immediately. This is to resolve your complaint as soon as possible.

-When customers visit National Parks, biological reserves, or places for adventures, we assume that the customer is in good physical condition. If the client has health problems or physical limitations of any kind, it is important that you let us know at the time of the booking.

These are the terms for cancellations of our services:

There is no penalty if cancellations are made more than 22 days prior to arrival day.

 For cancellations after this period, apply the following policy:

  •  70% Refund- 22 to 12 days before the arrival of the customers
  •  50% Refund- 11 to 09 days before the arrival of the customers
  •  20% Refund- 08 to 05 days before the arrival of the customers
  •  No Refund- 04 to 0 days before the arrival of the customers. After this term, there is no refund. If there is a service that must be pre-paid and the reservation is cancelled right after the payment is processed, it will depend on the hotel policies and tour operator.

Costa Rica Natural Tours will not reveal personal information about our customers to third parties. All information that is received from our customers will be used to confirm the itinerary booked with us. Information about credit or debit cards that we receive from our customers, will be received through a completely protected application form that guarantees maximum security in all transactions.
