Discover the beauty of the flora and fauna of the rainforest on horseback.

We will pick you up in the morning at your hotel and take you directly to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, driving through the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park where you can admire the incredible vegetation of a pristine jungle.

Once we arrive in Puerto Viejo, we will take a beautiful boat ride down the Sarapiquí River. For about an hour and a half you will be pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the flora and especially the fauna that is found here. You will be able to see crocodiles, toucans, sloths, monkeys, and an infinite amount of birds.

When you arrive to “Reserva Madero Negro”. You will enjoy an hour long ride on horseback through the rainforest where you will discover the beauty and wonders of this mysterious land.

After your jungle experience, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you.  Later you can take a walk in our beautiful gardens where you can visit a frog pond, a butterfly garden and our collection of exotic snakes.

Departure from San José: 6:30 a.m.
