Experience the full explosion of excitement which is the thrill of white water rafting!. The scenery while rafting is just marvelous. The vegetation that will surround you plus the power of the waters will transport you into a great wild adventure. The equipment will be given, and a specialized guide will instruct you on how to manage yourself into the strong currents of the river.

Rafting | Pacuare River (III y IV)  $99

The tour starts between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. when our microbuses pick up the adventurers in the main hotels of the metropolitan area.

A Costa Rican breakfast is offered at around 8:00 a.m. Then we arrive to Tres Equis, Turrialba, and a town where our guides wait for us with the equipment to start this wonderful adventure.

Each participant will receive a life jacket, a helmet and a row. One of the guides will give a safety speech and a small practice before facing whitewater rafting like Huacas, Cimarrones and Dos Montañas.

Pacuare is considered the most beautiful river in Costa Rica, and worldwide one of the best whitewater rafting rivers due to the scenic beauty, waterfalls, hiking trails and diversity of flora and fauna, among which participants will observe blue morpho butterflies, sloths, toucans, red frogs and great variety of birds. Thus, nature is present throughout the route.

This is a 3.5-hour journey with approximately 18 miles length. The minimum age for participants is 12 years old.

Once the river journey is finished, our customers are moved for a shower and a typical lunch.

We return to San José and leave rafters in their hotels between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Rafting | Chirripo River Class III $80

True and only tour of rafting noon, 2 hours complete of intense rafting to single 55minutos of San Jose. Passage that we do in two schedules, the morning and afternoon. This tour allows to take advantage of its time to the maximum. Short time in the bus for a same time doing rafting. Before tour we received tropical fruits and char it of security, soon to enjoy this mighty one it laughed whose waters come from Irazu volcano and the national Park Braulio cheek. Continuous expresses of great volume with many waves and to enjoy of mineralized waters of this mystic it laughed. And after the action, a rich lunch and in less than one hour  without lost of time we will be of return in San Jose. 6:30 exits a.m. return 12: 00p.m. Exit 12:30 p.m. return 6:30 p.m.

Sarapiquí River Rafting Details Class III  $80

Sarapiquí River Rafting Class 2 & 3:

Enjoy a half day rafting adventure, maneuvering through more than 20 rapids in natural whitewater. For beginner and advanced riders.

All tours can leave from either La Fortuna or San Jose and include food and drinks. It takes almost two hours drive to get to the river starting point.  Expect to be 2.5 up to 3 hours on the river.
